BIOGRAPHY
Kirsty Brooks is the author of The Vodka Dialogue,The Happiness Punch and The Millionaire Float, and she is currently writing The Lady Splash. She has also written Hitching: Tales from the byways and superhighways, Mad Love and Lady Luck and the upcoming sequel, Bossy Boots.
Kirsty is the director of Driftwood Manuscripts and has a Journalism Degree, and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Writing. She was awarded the Barbara Hanrahan Fellowship and has been a guest at every major Australian writers’ festival. She runs workshops on writing, publishing and manuscript assessment, is a mentor for emerging writers and writes for The Adelaide Magazine. She is also working on a series for Young Adults.
She lives in Adelaide, South Australia with a very affectionate sweetheart one-eyed Galah, Boo Radley, a white rabbit, Pedro, a dozen miscellaneous gorgeous rescued birds and her much beloved and overly devoted Kelpie Marshall. She is addicted to Diet Pepsi, eBay and playing her poor choices in music far too loud. She is an advocate for animal rights and is increasingly more annoyed with people who litter.
The next two Cassidy Blair books, The Tequila Bikini and The Dignity Flip will be published in the not to distant future.
